PRESSUREREGULATOR

Since service pressure may fluctuate with local

demand, every gas cooking appliance must be

equipped with a pressure regulator on the

incoming service line for safe and efficient

operation.

The pressure regulator shipped with the

appliance has has two female threads ½” NPT.

The regulator shall be installed

properly in order

tobeaccessiblewhentheapplianceisinstalledin

itsfinalposition.



Manifoldpressureshouldbecheckedwitha

manometerandcomplywiththevaluesindicated

below:

Naturalgas4.0"W.c.P.

LP/Propane11.0"W.C.P.

Incominglinepressureupstreamfromthe

regulatormustbe1"W.c.P.higherthanthe

manifoldpressureinordertocheckthe

regulator.

Theregulatorusedon

thisrangecanwithstanda

maximuminputpressureof1/2PSI(14.0"W.c.P.)

Ifthelinepressureexceedsthatamount,astep‐

downregulatorisrequired.

The appliance, its individual shut‐off valve, and

the pressure regulator must be disconnected

from the gas line during any pressure testing of

that system

 at pressures in excess of 1/2 psig

(3.45kPa).

The individuaL manual shut‐off valve must be in

the OFF position during any pressure testing of 

the gas supply  piping system at test pressures

equaltoorlessthan½psig(3.45kPa).


